A week-long soaring safari for cross-country pilots at Skylark North — one of the premier glider operations in the western US. Bring your glider, fly big, and share the experience with fellow pilots.
Daily pilots meetings with weather briefings, safety topics, suggested soaring tasks, and PIREPs from the day before. Group dinners in town. The structure of an organized event with the freedom to fly your own adventure.
Bring your own ship. Skylark has 3 Pawnee tow planes — plenty of capacity.
Wednesday July 29 through Monday August 3. Arrive Tuesday to assemble and tie down.
Thermals to the Sierras, ridge runs along the Tehachapis, and wave when conditions align.
