Using the Store
Help! When I click on the shoping cart it's empty, even though I just added something to it.
Sometimes this can happen when the store gets confused about the cookies in your browser. To fix the problem, you need to delete these "bad" cookies and make your selection in the shopping cart again.
From Internet Explorer on a PC, open the tools menu, select internet options, and delete the cookies who's address contains "www.GlidePlan.com" or "secure22.inmotionhosting.com", or click "delete cookies" to delete them all if you wish.
In Safari on the Mac, select the Safari menu, Preferences, Security, show cookies. From there you can selectively remove any cookie who's address contains "www.GlidePlan.com" or "secure22.inmotionhosting.com", or remove them all.
From the FireFox browser, select Firefox menu, preferences, privacy, cookies, view cookies. Remove any cookie who's address contains "www.GlidePlan.com" or "secure22.inmotionhosting.com".
Using GlidePlan
When I try to open a map file, I get an error message saying "Can't find a value for <version>", or "No map file found in this document"
Use the File>Load New Map command, rather than the Open command to create a new map document. The Open command is used to open Glideplan documents that you have previously saved from the program.
When I load a new map, I just see a blank white area where the map should be.
Upgrade to Version 1.1p or later.
When I place a landout on the map using the Altitude mode, I only see the center marker without any rings.
Several things can cause this behavior. If there is another landout point nearby at a lower elevation, the arrival point above the landout you are trying to place may be above the glide cone of the lower landout. Thus the new landout has no rings, as they would all be above existing rings. Another cause might be that the "Max ring altitude" is set too low relative to the altitude of the landout and the desired arrival altitude. Try increasing this value to 4000 ft. above the landout elevation + arrival altitude.
